Celestite is a beautiful pale blue mineral specimen. It is often in crystal form.  These crystals are surprisingly heavy when compared to quartz and other crystals.

Celestite is sometimes found in caves, it may also be found in geode shape. A geode is a hollow rock with crystals inside. Pale blue crystals inside the geode make for very nice home decorator specimens. Sometimes these geodes are shaped into an egg shape. This makes them a real collector’s piece, for the person that has everything.

Some believe celestite can enable a person to keep a level head, and that it can help a person with phobias.

Generally speaking, druse is a term that refers to any rock formation where an irregular cavity allows well-formed tiny crystal structures such as quartz, feldspar or other mineral crystals to grow. These cavities give tiny crystals a place to form over millions of years.The end result is a triumph of Mother Nature called drusy or druzy.

Druse or drusy (druzy) can be found world wide, but they are more commonly associated with agates and various types of quartzes.

Druses come in a wide range of colors including green, purple, blue, brown, and pinks. The color will vary depending on the other minerals associated with the crystals. On occasion, druse can be plated by various materials and metals to form highly unusual and sought after pieces. Some plated druse varieties include druses plated with copper, titanium, platinum, opalescent, gold, silver, plus many others.

Druses are sought after by collectors for their unusual formations and colors. Some believe druses can help with many ailments and afflictions.
