Products

All of our inventory is genuine and we provide certificates of authenticity with each item purchased from us. We have been in business since 1976, and have long-term relationships with our vendors, which ensures the authenticity and quality of our products.

All of our jewellery, as well as small fossils, crystals and meteorites, are shipped in white gift boxes with a silver bow. Any larger items that don't fit in a white gift box are wrapped in white tissue paper with a silver bow. In some cases for very fragile items they will also be wrapped in foam or bubble wrap for added protection. If you would like to know more, please contact us at sales@rocksandgemscanada.com

Yes! We sell online only gift vouchers starting from $25CAD. These are sent digitally as an email to the lucky recipient. You can shop our online vouchers here.

Unfortunately we do not purchase products or private collections from the public. We have long term relationships with our source suppliers - this helps us to ensure authenticity and reliability in our products.

We also do not have the tools or complete qualifications to offer appraisals. We suggest you reach out to a local gemologist for appraisals.

Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately we do not have the tools or qualifications to identify meteorites. Meteorites can be better identified with the location they were found at and mostly by their chemical make-up. We don't have the equipment for this type of research.

We suggest that you contact a University or a center of research that specializes in meteorite research.

Here's a recommended link to the University of Alberta:

Unfortunately we do not offer mineral identification services, as there is such a vast variety of stones, and pictures are not always an accurate representation. We recommend that you search for a gemologist or geologist in your area.

We also suggest reaching out to a University as they have the equipment and knowledge to identify various geological specimens - we unfortunately do not have this ability.

As we are a small, family owned business, we are currently not offering wholesale pricing or bulk discounts.

If we don't have what you're looking for available online, reach out to us at sales@rocksandgemscanada.com. Our website operates independentely from our retail locations, and may have a slightly different product assortment.

Ring and Beaded Bracelet Sizing

Unsure of your ring size? Use our handy ring sizing guide here to find your perfect fit.

We include the inner-circumference measurement of all our beaded bracelets located on their product page. Our regular sizing will fit most wrists. For a tighter fit, and for those who have a smaller wrist, we would recommend the Extra-Small sizing. For those needing a looser fit, we recommend the Extra-Large sizing. To find your wrists circumference, simply wrap a measuring tape around your wrist. The measurement will be your wrists circumference.

Unfortunately we do not offer this service. We do not have the tools available to cut and shape stones or set stones for jewellery.

If you are looking for a certain stone and size ring, please fill out our contact form below and we can check our in-store inventory.

Unfortunately our rings cannot be resized. For sterling silver jewellery, ring resizing is almost impossible unless the jeweller has very specialized tools and is highly trained in silversmithing. If done incorrectly, resizing a sterling silver ring will result in permanent damage to the stone.

With the majority of our rings, if the band is heated to resize the band, the stones can be damaged or lose their colour. We strongly suggest against resizing of our rings.
