Sodalite is a rich royal blue mineral often with white and pink veining. It occurs in many locations throughout Canada, including Bancroft ON, in the Ice River Valley, and Kicking Horse River, BC. Sodalite is usually found in a massive form within igneous, volcanic or altered limestone rocks.
