Carved Girasol Quartz Flame

Quartz is known as the "master healer" and will amplify energy and thought, as well as the effect of other crystals.  It absorbs, stores, releases and regulates energy. In single terminated crystals, the energy is directed from the base (bottom) and out to the top (termination).

Girasol Quartz milky color and optical phenomena are both produced by light scattering off the microscopic fibers within it.

The shape of the carved stone can be used to instill a certain intentionality during meditation. Fire is a representation of creation and destruction, thus a flame shaped stone could be indicative of those elements, as well as the circle of life. Flame shaped carvings may also be a totem of light and heat, and during meditation can be a representation of these fundamental principles. 

Girasol quartz can be used for spiritual development, protection, and psychic development, and is an excellent conduit during meditation, as it helps tap into the flow of universal energy. It also aids the dead transition into the afterlife.

This stone requires special care - exposure to water and other chemicals, such as cleaning products or aerosols, will damage it over time. If you polish the stone, use a dry cloth only, or an air duster that does not contain any disinfectant or other chemicals.
