Brecciated Jasper is a form of jasper that contains hematite. It is a particularly good grounding stone which can assist those who feel overwhelmed. It can enhance organizational abilities whilst helping in developing creativity. Brecciated Jasper encourages empathy and communication with animals and can help with allergies to animals and in general. It absorbs negative energy and promotes health, healing and recovery from illness.

Green Aventurine: Aventurine is a type of quartz. Mica and fuchsite particles in the quartz give the stone its green color and slight sparkle. Although green is the most common color, aventurine can also occur in reddish-orange tones (caused by hematite in the stone), blue tones, purples, pinks, and reds (caused by iron). 
Aventurine is believed by some to instill emotional tranquillity and positive attitudes toward life.  

Hematite is an unusual metallic looking stone that is named after the Greek word for blood. This is because a red dust is given off by the stone when it is cut and polished.  Hematite forms in small nodular shapes and once polished produces a beautiful almost metallic finish. This metallic finish occurs since the stone is an iron ore, the stone itself is over 70% iron. Don't worry though, hematite cannot rust. 

Hematite is believed by some to enhance personal magnetism, optimism, courage and will have a positive effect on the bloodstream.

Mookaite is an unusual type of jasper that is becoming extremely popular due to its unusual look and colors. Often red or rust, it also comes in beiges, purples, browns and gold/ yellows. Of course, combinations of the above colors are also possible, which make mookaite an unusual and colorful stone. Some believe mookaite may promote variety, fun, and help you experience things more intensely, and that it may also enhance your immune system.

Quartz is often found in crystal form and is the most often sought after for its healing or crystal properties. Quartz is said to receive, activate, store, transmit and amplify energy. It is also said to be an emotional balancer as it dispels negativity. It is the stone used most often for meditation.

Sodalite is one of the lesser-known Canadian gemstones. The blue color is the most recognized color of sodalite in the gem trade. Sodalite is a component of the better known stone lapis lazuli and is sometimes mistaken for lapis because of the closeness of the blue colors. Sodalite is said to enhance communication and aid in creative expression. Some believe sodalite may help with the assimilation of fluids, and may help with excess weight and high blood pressure
