Citrine Tumble

Citrine is a semi-precious gemstone. It is best described as a beautiful yellow transparent gemstone. It is a form of yellow quartz; although it very often resembles a yellow topaz.  Yellow clear quartz is called citrine, purple quartz is called amethyst. 

Through the process of heating amethyst to a precise temperature, the crystal turns from purple to yellow, thus holding the properties of amethyst, as well as the properties of the yellow color. Citrine is the alternate birthstone for November.

Each tumble is a natural mineral specimen, and no two are exactly the same. Please note that the tumbles you receive may have slight variations from the ones photographed.

Exposure to water and other chemicals, such as cleaning products or aerosols, will damage it over time. If you polish the stone, use a dry cloth only, or an air duster that does not contain any disinfectant or other chemicals.
