Chrysoprase is rather interesting as it comes in a wide range of colors and consistencies. It may be a beautiful milky green, or yellow green, or somewhat translucent green mixed with brown or black inclusions, which add to the natural beauty of the stone. The stone is sometimes veined and patterned; this creates beautiful gemstones when polished. Others prefer the solid rich and pure colors and shades of green; many think the stone resembles the extremely rare and sought after jadeite jade.
