Apache gold is rock that is composed of a brassy-yellow minerals called chalcopyrite with a black “greenstone” which is a metamorphosed volcanic rock. The formation of Apache Gold was near a volcanic vent. The layers of chalcopyrite were buried beneath accumulating volcanic materials. These rocks and ores were then metamorphosed by hydrothermal activity. This formed a beautiful metallic gold and black mottled stone. Chalcopyrite is an ore mineral for copper.
Apache Gold is useful on all chakras. Chalcopyrite is a positive stone and is said to increase happiness and believe in oneself. Chalcopyrite is also said to assist one in finding lost objects. It can aid in sleep difficulties and may also be used to dispel diseases of the ear.
